50 Hands animation
I do happen to be alive, just very busy and not very good at the whole updating blog thing. But now that the semester is almost complete I can start putting up the work I've been doing. First up is this hand animation. For Life drawing class we had to draw 100 hands, 50 each half semester. And for this half we had the option to animate it. So Ta Da!

Afterlife Gallery
These are pieces I did for a group gallery show called Afterlife at the beginning of the month. I always liked mythology so with a theme called Afterlife I jumped at the chance to have fun with it. In Hades, there are five rivers named: Acheron, Cocytus, Lethe, Plegethon, and Styx. I personified them based on their attributes and am very pleased with the result. All of them are done in photoshop.

Surprise Semester 4 Art
I knew these were hanging around somewhere- finally found 'em. It was an assignment to render the same image seven different ways and I chose a variation of the Coin Operated Boy book cover I did a while back. There's only five here because I already posted the digital version and the oil painting ran off somewhere...

Archangels
This is another assignment that was done in semester four. We had to choose a theme from a list or any theme we wanted and run with it. The final output of this was a little booklet, like a character manual sort of deal, but for the purposes of this blog I'm showing them individually.
Here are six of them: Azrael, Barachiel, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel.
I'll admit, the TV show Supernatural was my main influence here.

Semester 4- Concept
These pieces are from my concept class. I designed two characters, my version of Tinkerbell and Tootles from Peter Pan and did a pencil rendering, body poses, character rotation, expression sheet, digital, and water colour renderings for each. The background in the Tinkerbell and Tootles water colours were done in photoshop.
